The male star of the cast, playing opposite Ann Crawford, is 15-year old Warren Hearndon, who has already made more than 100 appearances on radio and television, and who was chosen from many hundreds of applicants decided that Warren's light brown hair is not in strong enough contrast to his dark eyes to convey the minister impression which the character demands . so, Warren has had his hair bleached.
