PCT4271063: Here in operation at Camp du Larzac, the Renault FT-17 tank, the manufacture of which was initiated by Colonel Estienne, is the best known armoured vehicle of the First World War. This caterpillar self-gun, produced in approximately 3500 copies, influenced the weapons industry around the world by fixing the very type of battle tank, using a turret weapon. It's the first to have a 360° swivel turret. It remained in service in the French army until the beginning of the Second World War, and was then used by the German Wehrmacht for occupation and training tasks. PCT4277883: Saint Brieuc or Brioc (v. 409 - v.502), a Breton monk from Wales, the first eveque of Saint Brieuc, the city of Brittany that owes him his name. He is one of the seven holy founders of Brittany, honors for his generosite in the pilgrimage of the Tro Breizh. He was beatified for subjugating wolves. We celebrate May 1st.
