He is instructed by Brian Davis, grade 2nd kyu, under the direction of Mr. Tatsou Suzuki, grade 7th Dan (apparently the best in world), who examined Robbie two weeks ago for his 8th kyu grade. Maldon Ladies Rifle Club have taken them under their wing and are allowing them to use the guns and range. The Commandant is a keen shot and teaches them. This is part of their training besides the usual G.T.c.  training. Practising sighting with the company looking on Commandant Samuel teaching. March 1944
