PIX4605708: Pioneer Venus - The Pioneer Venus Project was a NASA space exploration mission to Venus launched in 1978. It consisted of two separate probes, one to study Venus from its orbit (Pioneer Venus Orbiter) and the other to analyze the atmosphere of the planet through 4 atmospheric probes (Pioneer Venus Multiprobe).
