Former 'Goon' Harry Secombe, led the singing of hymns and his brother Rev Frederick Secombe, of Machen, Newport, read one of the lessons at the Actors' Service held at St Martin-in-the-Fields. This service was one in series to mark the patronal festival of the actors' church union. Sir Ralph Richardson also read one of the lessons. Parson Secombe, 39, was two years older than his brother Harry. 14th November, 1958 (b/w photo)
