La jota aragonesa, choir singing and couple dance of Aragon, practiced during all popular and religious repleasures, lyrics on the theme of love, sometimes grotesque or trivial, these popular songs are repeated by means of pliegos, small supplements printed on multicolored paper and distributed by the press. Sketch taken on the live by Gustave Dore (1832-1883). Engraving to illustrate the voyage in Spain, in 1862 by Charles Davillier and Gustave Dore, in “Le tour du monde, nouveau journal des voyages”” published under the direction of Edouard Charton, 1867, Paris. Selva Collection.
