The reason was that on Saturday on Scottish BBC 1 television, he was interviewing witches at a meeting and had to strip to join the circle. MPX5071256: Animals - Elephants: Stepping out with no Trousers. The one with the short, fat legs is Khali the elephant. The others displaying their shapely limbs are wardens at the Blair Drummond Safari Park, near Stirling in Scotland. And they face a rather chilly start to the new season. Because their new uniforms have turned up -- minus trousers. This year is the Park's 10th anniversary so the owners have splashed out and bought all the staff new uniforms. But the suppliers say it will be at least another month before the trousers turn up. In the meantime, the wardens have been told to stage a cover-up operation for the sake of their Credentials!. MPX5071480: This year's Veteran car rally to Brighton started at London's Hyde park where 295 entries assembled. (car number 143) driven by Mr. keith Butti of Navestock, Essex, and his wife. The car has been in the family since it was made but many years ago the engine was taken out and used to drive a saw mill. The seat end went to India with the family and used as a rickshaw. Now the two parts re-joined in a 'second marriage' and travelled all the way to Brighton with the other veterans. November 1969 / Bridgeman Images
