MPX5091772: Farmers this afternoon were at the House of Commons to protest over their grievances about the price they obtain for fresh milk. One farmer, Mr. David Cuming from Henstom Park Farm, Totnes, Devon, brought his cow Nasturtura to St. Stephans Entrance suitably placarded, but a police inspector told the farmer to move on and take his cow with him. MPX5091891: Sheba The Alsation who raised the alarm of fire at the Crofton Hotel, Queen's gate, London and was the means of saving several lives went to the R.S.P.C.A. headquarters in Jermyn Streets, London today (Tuesday) with her mistress Miss Kim Vandyke who works at the hotel. There this lovely wooly coated alsation received the RSPCA plaque awarded for sagacity. Five yrs old "Sheba" smelt smoke and barked to wake her owner which is the assistant accountant at the hotel. They will have printed 43,000 calendars which will be distributed to their tyre dealers and footwear agents. Today at the Europa Hotel they held a press conference to launch the new calendar and invited Piers Courage the racing driver to post with some of their model girls.
