MPX5124079: A mechanical charging machine feeding a 30 ton electric arc furnace at the English Steel Corporation Works (Vickers) in Sheffield, which specialises in the electrical induction method. The raw material used to charge the furnace - scrap metal, alloy etc, is weighed out into special steel pans.
