The Viaur viaduct at the beginning of the 20th century - train with steam locomotive - this work of railway art on the Castelnaudary-Rodez railway line crosses the deep Viaur valley between Rodez and Albi. It is located in the municipalities of Tauriac-de-Naucelle (Aveyron) and Tanus (Tarn). This steel metal bridge has been inscribed as historical monuments since 1984 - built by engineer Paul Bodin between 1895 and 1902, it is 116 m high and 460 m long. Its central arch has a reach of 220 m - This is the last construction site of Jean Compagnon, head of the construction site of the viaducts of Garabit, Maria Pia, as well as the Eiffel Tower. He died in 1900 before the end of the construction site. The work was completed by his successor, Gaboris - postcard sent in 1910 -
