The competition organised by the Daily Telegraph Magazine in association with Grants of St. James's, has a top prize worth £1,000. Contestants purchased a two half bottle pack of wine and on the back was a simple written Wine Quiz with a tie breaker. There were 19 finalists, including one woman. The previous night while doing the normal high wire act with his 28 year old wife Francine, she plummeted to the circus ring below and was seriously injured.
