MPX5127244: This town has celebrated November 11th for 200 years. A local brand of explosive, known as Fenny Poppers, have been set off every November 11th since 1730 by the towns people of Fenny Stratford, a lively village in Buckinghamshire. Squire Brown Willis of Whaddon Hall started the custom several centuries ago by providing in his will for a perpetual fund to pay for the annual celebrations.
