The reason was that on Saturday on Scottish BBC 1 television, he was interviewing witches at a meeting and had to strip to join the circle. MPX5064646: Cilla Black in her dressing room before her performance at the Coventry Theatre in "The Birthday Show" which ran until November 15th. A few days after this photo was taken Cilla had a miscarriage and was rushed to Coventry's Walsgrave hospital. She was over 6 months pregnant at the time with a long-for daughter. She was back singing in the show two and-a-half weeks later and there were emotional scenes at the end of her performance when she was showered with flowers and bouquets from fans.
