The agreement was initialled in London today by the Italian and Yugoslav Ambassadors, Signor Brosio and Mr. Velebit. It means that British and American forces which have been in Trieste since the end of the war, will be withdrawn. Zone “” A”” of the Free Territory of Trieste, including the city of Trieste, will go to Italy, with certain frontier rectifications.
