MPX5127244: This town has celebrated November 11th for 200 years. A local brand of explosive, known as Fenny Poppers, have been set off every November 11th since 1730 by the towns people of Fenny Stratford, a lively village in Buckinghamshire. Squire Brown Willis of Whaddon Hall started the custom several centuries ago by providing in his will for a perpetual fund to pay for the annual celebrations. MPX5127466: Horse Sale at Barnet Fair: The Bernet Fair Horse Sales many of the horses are unbroken and start rearing as soon as a halter is put on their neck. Fearless horse dealers drive amongst the wild horses to fetch out a likely one for a prospective customer. Barnet Fair is usually noted for being held in rain and mud. MPX5125875: A Musicians' Union dispute blacked out the recording of a BBC Christmas show by Andy Williams at Warwick University. Musicians refused to play for him and 1,300 fans were told the show was cancelled. But the 50-year-old star decided some sort of show should go on. Backed by a pianist instead of the anticipated full concert orchestra, he gave a 45-minute stage performance.
