PCT4297806: A FRENCH PAINTED BY HIS: cartoon by Daumier in Le Charivari no. 88 of 29 March 1849. In the Scenes d'ateliers (four boards published in January 1848 and April 1850), then in Les Artistes, as in other posterieure series, Daumier mocked the flaws of his confreres.
