But these bubbles don't burst after a few minutes in the air they last a considerable time and do a job of outmost importance to our seaman, in fact to every ship on the high seas. They will shortly be bubbles of light piercing the darkness, which gives warning from the lighthouses around the coastline of Britain. MPX5129888: Post Second World War - Rationing - A butcher shows his method of giving everyone a 'turn' for off the ration meats.
