Mr. Shaw is due to present his Private Members Bill for the Abolition of Deerhunting to parliament on 12th December,1969. World War II Women: Maldon (Essex) G.T.C. Company girls are fast becoming crack rifle shots. Maldon Ladies Rifle Club have taken them under their wing and are allowing them to use the guns and range. The Commandant is a keen shot and teaches them. This is part of their training besides the usual G.T.C. training. P.T. drill is part of the training for these girls as well as morse and handywomen training etc. March 1944
