Barbara Noonan was the toast of her family last night after an ordeal at sea on a drifting air bed. Mrs Noonan and her daughter Margaret, 23 and grand-daughter Barbara, 8 were swept more than a quarter of a mile out to sea from Fife beach. They were rescued by helicopter after a young boy raised the alarm and swam to help them. 30th July 1976 (b/w photo)
