MPX5138507: The Hollies drummer, Bobby Elliott, paid a visit to the new GRAMMY Museum exhibition in Liverpool. And the Sixties star reminisced about his part in the British Invasion of America in the early 1960s which was led by fellow bands like The Beatles, Kinks and Rolling Stones. The 72-year-old has loaned a number of items of The Hollies memorabilia to the show, including a Biba shirt from the 60s, album covers, promotional material, postcards and even a special Ludwig 400 snare drum which he played on most of the bands records during the decade. He said: Its a real joy. Ive got a barn full of this stuff at home so for someone to take it off my hands is great because it means we can spring clean!
