MPX5072246: Fashion 1940's: The two-piece suit by "Brenner Sports" is unsurpassed. This year their two-piece creations are not the skirt and tailored jacket, but are a combination of dress and jacket. It is to be foreseen that in the 1948 Autumn wardrobes will be incomplete without one of these new costumes. This model is in Fuschia, blue and green checks. The shirtwaist dress had elbow sleeves - and the orginal skirt is sun-ray pleated from waist to knee to fall softly to the hem. The English woman will pay approximately £32.15. for it. Madame Paget Fuschia shades, which completes the charming outfit. / Bridgeman Images
