FLO4708436: Knight of the Order of Calavatra in ceremonial costume. Order founded in Castile in the 12th century, as a military branch of the Cistercian order. The order was named after the Arabic name of a castle taken from Muslims in 1147. In the Cistercian order, founded in 1098, there were already many knights or sons of knights, and in Calatrava, the monks became knights. The Order of Saint Blaise was only in Armenia in the 12th century and bears the name of the Patron Saint of the Kingdom. His religious wing carried out numerous prediction and conversion missions, and his military wing organized the defense of the country against Muslims. Montjoie's order was a military order during the Crusades. It was founded to protect the Christian pelerins in Palestine around 1180, established homes in Syria, Castile and Catalonia, and merged with the order of Calavatra in 1221. Rebecca Hey was a Victorian writer, poet and artist who wrote “” Moral of Flowers” 1833 and “” Recollections of the Lakes”” 1841.
