MPX5160276: Shipyard director George Parker rose to the occasion when the new liner Queen Elizabeth II seemed reluctant to be launched. He gave her a shove and a second later the Cunarder slid down the stocks from John Brown's ship yard into the River Clyde. It was a symbolic gesture, and brought a hilarious ending to the few seconds during which the new QE2 seemed reluctant to move.
