The reason was that on Saturday on Scottish BBC 1 television, he was interviewing witches at a meeting and had to strip to join the circle. He liked the freedom feeling so much that he decided to broadcast in the nude today.

However it is no ordinary Kart but Davids only method of transport for he is a victim of Spina Bifida and has no real use in his legs. The Kart has been specially designed and made by apprentices at a large Wolverhampton, Engineering Factory and was presented to David this week. The Kart which is used by David inside and outside his home is even fitted with a reverse gear. Now Home Office Officials are interested in producing the Kart in Prisons and Borstal Institution and it should sell for approximately £20. December 1969

So what was more natural Denny opened at the Kings Arms in Buckingham Palace Road, that TV Toppers and head Minstrel Keith Leggett from the supporting cast. Denny gets down to the business of opening up the pub helped by TV Topper Eleanor Bradburn and the legs of Topper Marilyn Moore. November 1969
