MPX5152910: A pint with a real body! The regulars really get into the spirit of things down at Tommy Duck's. And its not only the beer that has body in it. For landlord Ken Rigg has found a novel resting place for the boozers pints and snacks - a glass topped coffin, complete with skeleton. It was Ken's idea of a joke but the customers at his pub, one of the oldest in Manchester, find it an ideal place to rest in peace. as it were. Everyone's quite happy. I think they like the idea of leaning on a coffin said Ken. It's turned out to be advantageous because the pub is usual full and the customers now have somewhere to lean. 1st February 1976 (b/w photo) / Bridgeman Images
