The statue was commissioned by the Burma Government, and Mr. Copwall was assisted in the work by Burmese sculptor San Tei - who besides working on the statue donned a uniform and at times acted as model. The statue is 9 ft. high and is to be shipped to Burma next month to be erected in the center of Rangoon / Bridgeman Images
