With 355,000 m2, corresponding to 2 towers 160 metres high connected by lower buildings, Coeur Defense is the building with the largest usable area in Europe behind the Parliament Palace in Bucharest. Unibail-Rodamco, which commissioned this gigantic complex and inaugurated it in 2001, awarded it for €2.1 billion in March 2007 to Lehman Brothers.
