Gustave Xhrouet (1853-c.1940), rat hunter, creator and founder of the school of ratiers dogs, was the promoter in France, at the beginning of the twentieth century, of the ratodrome where rats and dogs fought. These arenes of animal fighting existed for about thirty years in Neuilly, Saint Denis, Aubervilliers.
