MPX5082152: 58 year old Charlie Roberts of Eastbourne, Sussex is proud of his pumpkin growing prowess. He challenges any amateur gardener to better his record of over 500lbs weight of pumpkins grown from 6 plants. He was helped to grow this weight by a freak second crop, the first normal crop of 11 pumpkins from his 6 plants weighted in at 400lbs. When he returned from a fortnight's holiday, the second crop had started growing due to the Indian summer.
