MPX5093674: The two furnace operators, David Norris and Daniel Murray at the Royal Mint, have got at the moment, a very exclusive job, because in two days time the halfcrown coin will no longer be legal tender and David and Daniel pour £2,000 worth of coins, each, into the furnace every hour. MPX5091840: Part of the Coldstream Guards Band went to the children's ward at St. Thomas's London, and played their band music to the kiddies. The soldiers played Christmas Carols and happy marches. Some of the children even played some of the musical instruments. The nurses, children and soldiers joined in musical chairs. Then they all had tea, and the Tots Tattoo drew to a close. MPX5091769: Farmers this afternoon were at the House of Commons to protest over their grievances about the price they obtain for fresh milk. One farmer, Mr. David Cuming from Henstom Park Farm, Devon, brought his cow Nasturtura to St. Stephans Entrance suitably placarded, but a police inspector told the farmer to move on and take his cow with him. The farmer tied up the cow to a parking meter nearby. Mr David Cuming holis his cow Nasturtura whilst he gives an interview for television, in the centre is the police inspector. The idea is to visit as many of the 80 London squares within selected boundaries as possible by the walkers most of whom are from the University at Guildford Cathedral. MPX5091899: Winner of this year's Horse Trotting Exhibition along the Highway, Stepney, was 10 year old gelding, High Road Pride driven by greengrocer, Wally Hart of Stepney. Three horses took part in the exhibition for charity. The proceeds to go to helping make a happy Christmas for the Old Age Pensioners of the Derby and Joan Club in Deancross Street Billy Walker one of the judges looking at the competitors.
