PIX4637831: Sky horizon to horizon - Light pollution is visible on both horizons. The star Sirius is reflected in the sea. Higher, the constellations of Orion, and the Bull with the Pleiades. Near the zenith, a shooting star claws the sky not far from the round spot of Holmes comet right in Persee. Towards the other horizon, the double cluster of Persee, the Andromede Galaxy, the nebula North America (very low in light pollution) and finally the Lyre near the horizon. 16 November 2007, Combrit (Finistere). The light pollution is visible above both horizons. Sirius has just risen and reflects itself in the sea. Higher, are constellations of Orion, the Taurus with Pleiades. Near the zenith, a meteor scratches the sky near the round patch of Comet Holmes in the heart of Perseus. Down to the other horizon: the double Perseus Cluster, Great Andromeda galaxy, North America nebula (hard to spot in the light pollution) and constellation of Lyra near the horizon.
