About a million forged pound notes are believed to be in circulation in this country (1972). Shopkeepers, street tradesmen and business houses and banks have been warned about them. MPX5126163: Muhammad Ali feels exhusted, it was almost as gruelling as any World Championship Fight whe he made a personal appearance at a supermarket in Stretford, Manchester to promote Ovaltine. He was supposed to stay and sign the tins that people bought, but after literally being "treed" unable to move between a mountain of tins in store , and people being trampled all around him.
