MPX5062514: Ton Up Boys Funeral: The mourning dress was black leather. Motorcycles were parked as eighty youngsters solemnly flanked the half mile approach road to the crematorium, to watch the cortege go by. Then sadly walked behind to the service. The coffee bar set were honouring a promise made with their colleague Michael Munnerley, 18 killed in an accident on his bike. A pact that promised if any of them died the rest would ride to his funeral on their bikes. Our Picture Shows: Motorcyclist seen here with wreath. January 1969 Z1129 / Bridgeman Images
