MPX5091499: The "Wine Taster of the Year" finals took place today at the Savoy Hotel. The competition organised by the Daily Telegraph Magazine in association with Grants of St. James's, has a top prize worth £1,000. Contestants purchased a two half bottle pack of wine and on the back was a simple written Wine Quiz with a tie breaker. There were 19 finalists, including one woman. MPX5091632: Uniform Expo '70 Hostesses: On show to the public today for the first time, was the uniform to be worn by the six British and 14 Japanese hostesses employed on guide and escort duties in the British Pavilion at Expo '70 which opens at Osaka, Japan, in March. The clothes and accessories were chosen from Marks and Spencer's St. Michael range for next spring. Modelling the uniform for the press, was 20 year old Miss Lydia V. MPX5091769: Farmers this afternoon were at the House of Commons to protest over their grievances about the price they obtain for fresh milk. One farmer, Mr. David Cuming from Henstom Park Farm, Devon, brought his cow Nasturtura to St. Stephans Entrance suitably placarded, but a police inspector told the farmer to move on and take his cow with him. The farmer tied up the cow to a parking meter nearby. Mr David Cuming holis his cow Nasturtura whilst he gives an interview for television, in the centre is the police inspector. MPX5091899: Winner of this year's Horse Trotting Exhibition along the Highway, Stepney, was 10 year old gelding, High Road Pride driven by greengrocer, Wally Hart of Stepney. Three horses took part in the exhibition for charity. The proceeds to go to helping make a happy Christmas for the Old Age Pensioners of the Derby and Joan Club in Deancross Street Billy Walker one of the judges looking at the competitors. MPX5092528: After Britain's stage union equity had refused Yoland Dolan a permit for her to play in Peter Pan, a search was made for a British actress who could take the part of Peter.
