MPX5091890: Winner of this year's Horse Trotting Exhibition along the Highway, Stepney, was 10 year old gelding, High Road Pride driven by greengrocer, Wally Hart of Stepney. Three horses took part in the exhibition for charity. The proceeds to go to helping make a happy Christmas for the Old Age Pensioners of the Derby and Joan Club in Deancross Street, E.1. They will have printed 43,000 calendars which will be distributed to their tyre dealers and footwear agents. Today at the Europa Hotel they held a press conference to launch the new calendar and invited Piers Courage the racing driver to post with some of their model girls. David will be amongst over prominent people who will line up on the starting grid in the personalities race at the John Player Grand Prix.
