On 29 May 1977, she made her farewell run in the UK, at the head of the Great Western Envoy from Birmingham to Didcot and return. MPX5156547: Liverpool manager Bill Shankly inspecting the Anfield pitch with chairman T V Williams and head groundsman Arthur Riley after referee George McCabe called off the upcoming FA Cup fourth round replay match against Burnley at Anfield, only three hours before kick off, with Shankly having been assured the game was on.
