We are proud to share our new look with many improved features ideal for all areas of the educational system. One of the key features includes a unique and flexible way to search over 8,000 locations covering the world’s major museums, art collections and historical sites.
Multiple ways to Search
We have introduced a number of ways to help you find the content you are looking for including an advanced search function that lets you tailor your requirements by title, artist, medium, location of artwork and a date range.
Additionally, we have a Boolean search, “Bound” & (Bracketed) phrasing, negative searches and more.
Over 1.2 Million images at your fingertips
A major focus for this new website was increasing our content to over 1.2 Million images that all have copyright clearance for educational use. All easily accessible through one website.
The art of the presentation
We know that you need to create presentations whether you are a professor or a student and our new selection (Lightbox) and Slideshow features will allow you to save JPGS for a Powerpoint presentation or utilise either VLE (Virtual Learning Platform) or Learning Platform (LP) to create your presentations.
Take a closer look
When it comes to getting closer to the 1.2 Million images on the Bridgeman Education website we have really ensured you can zoom in to see every little detail of each image. Ability to see two, three or four images side by side for comparison, change display sequences as well as adding notes and captions to the images before they are added to presentations.
It’s a win-win for everyone.
The terms of subscription allow for any educational use for educational staff and students within an institution. Also, the search and retrieval functions offer advantages and flexibility for tutors and students with the emphasis on simplicity, rapid scholarly access and easy organisation.
