One of the most important artists of the early Italian Renaissance. Piero's work is characterized by a rational, calm, monumental painting style, that was important in the Italian early Renaissance, an age in which art and science were linked through the writings of Leon Battista Alberti and others. He used the rules of perspective and ideal figures composed of geometric forms to create narrative and devotional paintings, especially in fresco. Italian painter.
