MPX5098045: Pupil, Aiden Reeve and TV presenter, Chris Wenner is seen here carrying the sack full of stamps which have been collected at Aiden's school, Arnold Lodge Prep School, in Leamington for the "Blue Peter" television programme appeal to help the sick in remote parts of Tanzania, East Africa. The helicopter that transported them is owned by Aiden's dad, Richard who farms at Eathorpe. He transported the sack of stamps to the "Blue Peter" depot in Kidlington near Oxford. The school began collecting the stamps in mid-January and achieved an average of 330 per pupil. The sack weighed about 30lbs and contained more than 100,000 stamps. Mrs. Moira King, the headmaster's secretary said: "We were absolutely delighted with the response and were quite overwhelmed." Also to be found in the pits was the lovely Micky de Rauch, a friend of Peter Revson, American racing driver with the Bruce McLaren stables. He will be driving car No. 4 tomorrow (Sunday) in the Daily Express International Trophies Race for Formula 1 and Formula 5000 cars.
