Demand for Triumph motor cycles in Coventry is booming despite the blockade at the firm's Meriden plant where 2,500 completed machines are being held back. Dealers report that demand has rocketed in Coventry ever since Norton Villiers Triumph announced they were to close the Meriden works. This photo shows some of the hundreds of Triumph motor cycles - many of them ready for the road - held up inside the blockaded Meriden plant.
