Biography
Pat Scott attended Ealing Art College where she studied Textile Design and Commercial Art and was shortly offered a position painting backgrounds and pack shots with W.M. Larkin Screen Services in London. Later she joined J. Arthur Rank at Pinewood Studios film department. After raising a family Pat Scott attended Reading University, gaining a BA(Hons), majoring in Fine Art and taught for several years. Since then she has painted as a freelancer and has exhibited at St. Martin in the Field, London and U.K. galleries in Windsor, Maidenhead, Reading, Wokingham and Henley on Thames. Pat Scott specialises in commissions for flora and fauna and her work has been published on greeting cards, fabrics, in poetry and picture books, high quality jigsaws, bookcovers, corporate web sites, posters and brochures. Her original work can be seen in many corporate collections.
