Biography
Briton Riviere (b.1840 d.1920) was a British artist. He exhibited numerous works at the Royal Academy including three works when he was still in school. He is known for his realistic and lively paintings of animals. He would often go to London Zoo to study the animals in order to successfully capture their behaviours.
