(1872-1965)<br> Born in Glasgow, Annie French studied at the Glasgow School of Art under Fra Newbery. She settled in London and became a prolific exhibitor at the RSA and Royal Glasgow Institute, showing her work at the RA. The Scottish Gallery of Modern Art holds several works by her.
