Neil Stokoe began his career studying Fine Arts at the Royal College of Art, where he was awarded a scholarship that helped him study there until 1964. Finding a passion for teaching as well as art, Neil Stokoe, went on to teach at Wimbledon School of Art from 1963 until his retirement in 2000, where he conducted diverse courses in Art History, painting and foundation classes. His paintings, although varied in composition and color, maintain the permanent theme of portraying the tension of individuals while arriving or departing from different situations. His more recent work, however, explores the feeling of isolation. Today, Neil Stokoe, continues to live and paint in London, while his works continue to amaze people all around the world.
