Roland Delcol (b. 1942) melds classical art education with profound historical and philosophical insights. Studying at Brussels Free University (1960-63) and Saint-Gilles Academy of Arts (1963-71), his hyperrealistic collages transcend boundaries. Solo exhibitions worldwide since 1969 elevated Delcol's status as one of the foremost Belgian painters of the twentieth century.
