Biography
The Catalan painter was present for the late 19th- and early 20th-century development of modern art in Barcelona and Paris, and lived in Montmartre with Miguel Utrillo, the putative father of Maurice Utrillo. He painted portraits of his contemporaries such as Pablo Picasso and Erik Satie.
