Biography
(1871-1972)<br />Born in London (1892-1972) Dod Procter was married to the artist Ernest Procter. She studied with Stanhope Forbes in Newlyn and at the Atelier Colarossi in Paris. Her major painting ‘Morning’ hangs in the Tate Gallery, London She lived in Newlyn for many years and was associated with many of the artists who were part of the colony there, being elected an Royal Academician in 1942.
