Biography
I am a self taught artist/photographer who has lived and worked in many countries around the world. I am delighted to have several images from this portfolio selected by book publishers in America for covers. While not religious myself, I purposefully visit sites of devotion of all denominations, taking pleasure not only in the architecture and landscape, but also the design and craftsmanship of decorations, ornaments and artifacts that are found within. Applying a unique palette of colours, textures and digital techniques to my photographs, traditional, sometimes ancient, and often forgotten imagery and objects are given new life and can be enjoyed in a contemporary context.
