Irina Corduban completed a BA Fine Art, Monumental Art, "George Enescu" Academy of Fine Arts, Iasi, Romania (2002). Then she studied for her MA at University of Westminster. The artist utilises 15th Century, wet on wet technique, historically used by painters such as Jan Van Eyck, with layer after layer of thin translucent glazes. Her source materials is often taken from fashion photography, religious imagery of spirit forms and angels
