Biography
Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin (b. 1848 d. 1903) was a French Post-Impressionist painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramist and writer who came to prominence after his death. He is now renowned for his experimental colour palette and his Synthetist style. In the later years of his life, he spent ten years in French Polynesia.
